There are two waves of movement going to happen for EB2 this year. One starting in May and the other starting in July.
The 12000 unused visa numbers from EB1 is not the total for the year 2011. It is almost certain that, this is the spillover from the first 2 quarters of 2011. Along with this, there are some numbers from EB2 ROW as well. The spillover will only get applied to all those countries which are retrogressed.
12000 visa numbers would move mathematically the dates to somewhere in Sept 2006 for India and China Eb2. The porting from EB3 to EB2 is still a factor, but that won't exceed more then 1500 (which are ready to be assigned visa).
In order to utilize these 12000 visa numbers, USCIS may possibly consider 15000 applicants so that they will get 12000 approvable, background check free and non-delayed cases.
So, i think for EB2 the dates could move to either Oct/Nov/Dec of 2006.
In July, the next wave of spill over could move the dates further into 2007.

Flower campaign, I said this one week back and did not do anything on that but was requesting others to join. I did send letters twice to 6 address and sending cards again today.
How do we organize this flower camaign or anything . Shouldnt a core member start the initiative by listing the action on the headlines.
I am sure people are waiting to see Oct bulletin. But based on information we have, please be assured nothing good can be seen, unless a miracle. Wait for the next bulletin may not be as pleasant in case you are looking for a job (No I am not). Lets all shoot emails to CORE IV now, to request them to start a campaign. I think from our end that shoudl be the 1st step. Unless they get the group together, we will be headless chicken as someone said, writing in doifferent threads,

The Department of State announced that the Indian EB2 category is expected to advance one week in the May Visa Bulletin. The demand for EB1visa numbers has decreased by 50 percent this fiscal year. Last year from October 2009 to February 2010, 22,000 EB1 numbers were used. During the same period this year, only 10,000 to 11,000 have been used. EB1 will be current worldwide all fiscal year. This will free up an estimated 12,000 visa numbers to fall down from EB1 to EB2 this year

2) (copy 2)Send a copy of that letter to IV. After the letters are sent to the President, IV will have a meeting with senior administration officials. In that meeting we will carry the copies of the letters and deliver to them.

Godbless, I am sure you can get your post 6 years H-1B extension based on the Cornin and new Aytes memo of 12-5-2006. Can you ask your lawyer whether it is possible to file your H-1B extension after 01/26/2007 but BEFORE June 2007 or it must be filed before the expiry of your parolee I-94? Also, you said the Immigration Officer at the POE did not let you use your H visa but the AP. Is it because you showed him both of your H-1B visa and AP? If you did not show the AP, he would probably let you enter with the H-1B visa, right?
Sorry for my knowledge but why would anyone need an AP if he has ample time left on H1 ? Is it a rule that after filing I-485 , you have to have an AP to travel ?

I have the same situation. CPO change date on 5th, email on 6th. Since then, no LUD, status changes, email, or snail mail.

I am not sure if u were born as an idiot or became an idiot after being turning a so called "donor".
To be frank I stopped contributing as and when IV started having donor forums.
There are thousands of websites and forums througout the internet to get info and what VKBris posted may not even come close to what Q and Teddy and so many others used to share as a group.
Now coming on to freebies,What benefit does IV provide to past contributors.I have contributed in the past, have been active at the initial stages,have spent my own money and booked airtickets to meet senators.Been a leader in a state chapter.But later realised that it was not worth for this forum which has partitions among so called donors.
Why the heck does any one want to see in a home page about posts on a donor forum.Just hide it and keep it among yourself and discuss .
Now red may follow,and a possible ban.

Believe me its all very simple but has been only possible with news, inputs, suggestions and critique from all its really teamwork. And I know for sure there are few murderers , politicians and movie stars(most of them are arrested atleast once for crime or the other :-)) who have the same first name and middle name as mine back in India.Last name is what makes the full name unique.
My Namecheck was initiated Aug 4th as per TSC IO and is still pending.Looks like I am going to be waiting for a long time.

My lawyer said u cannot have 2 485 petitions with USCIS.
My Lawyer's response - You should be aware that you cannot file two I-485 applications. If you file individually, there is no option to file as a dependent UNLESS the pending I-485 is withdrawn.
