If the grapevine is to be believed, Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have split again. The story got credence from the fact that Chopra suddenly flew off to the US, where she has been spotted in the company of pop singer, Lady Gaga.

The move was apparently to avoid Kapoor’s 30th birthday party that had several of his friends and co-stars trooping in to wish him the best last Friday.

Chopra, however, was miles away, on another continent, but she hadn’t forgotten her good friend. She had a special gift delivered to him. Priyanka-ShahidOne of her staff picked up a white helmet from the Diesel store in Juhu, late Thursday evening.

“Priyanka had placed the order earlier but a white helmet wasn’t available at the time. She had to leave soon after, and conveyed to the store manager that she wouldn’t be in the city but someone would take delivery on her behalf,” reveals a source.

The helmet was gift-wrapped exactly the way Chopra had instructed and delivered to Kapoor at the stroke of midnight. The actor, who has a Harley Davidson bike he is passionate about, was thrilled with his surprise gift.

Both Chopra and Kapoor remained unavailable for comment but one thing’s for sure, the present is perfect and all’s well with the couple who are gearing up to set the screen on fire in Kunal Kohli’s next film.

Mumbai, Feb. 28 -- Hrithik Roshan's wife Sussanne learnt early in life that nothing is impossible. After assisting her mother for a while, she tied the knot with the most promising newcomer, and eventually worked only on special clients while raising her sons Hrehaan and Hridaan.

Yesterday, she brought her 'third baby into the world' as she calls her store, The Charcoal Project, along with husband Hrithik Roshan, who's most proud about her childhood dream coming true.

Sussanne concedes that there were times she'd get worried, upset and even frustrated when things took long to work out. Didn't she turn her husband into a punching bag then? "Hrithik's been such a sweetheart, often telling me to not worry, believe in myself and that everything would be fine," she asserts, adding, "He taught me that I shouldn't leave any stone unturned. And if I needed anything, I should do it, and never let go."

And when Hrithik was away for his outdoors, Sussanne had her great support system in the Roshan and Khan clans, and a couple of her close buddies. "When Hrithik returned and saw the way my store was coming up, he was in tears and happily surprised. He trusts my vision. It's a challenge to live up to his expectations," enthuses Mrs Roshan, seated inside her two-level store (basement and ground).

The strangest aspect of setting up her store was getting the moss walls because moss reflects life for some parts of The Charcoal Project. "They were lost in transition for about two months!" she exclaims, still shocked that the moss walls she ordered from North America couldn't be located somewhere along the way. "I had to send someone in Europe to locate it. The transportation had come to a halt due to blizzards last winter. Fortunately, everything was sorted out, and they reached Mumbai only three weeks ago."

The gorilla installations she points out are the craziest part of her store. Reason: the two gorillas weigh a tonne each, and couldn't be brought down to the basement easily.

"Thankfully, my architect Ehsan had two huge holes punched in the floor. So we got the pulley-machines used by ship-loaders to get the gorillas down to the basement," she recalls, stating that every bit of setting up shop has been recorded on a video. "I think anyone can set up a store if they want to. Taking it ahead is the tougher part."

"Kate wants nothing more than to be seen in a completely different light than Jon is viewed," says the source. "Obviously he is the father of her children and that won't change, but she is feeling very happy about her decisions and situation."

The 21-year-old I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here winner picked up her new customised car, which was fit for a princess.

The former X Factor star seemed delighted with her new ride, a cream Volkswagen Beetle convertible, which has a crown emblem printed on the bonnet and on the side panels.

The VW garage had spruced up the £20,000 car to signify her triumph in the Australian jungle last year as part of the reality show series.

She had choose a camel-coloured cape with a pale peach shirt, black leggings and new heels for her trip to the car showroom.

Days after Rhys Ifans was spotted slipping out of her home in his dressing gown, Anna Friel has confirmed one of showbusiness’s worst-kept secrets.

She admitted that she and the legendarily scruffy Welsh actor are an item.

‘I’m with Rhys and I’m very happy about it,’ said the 34-year-old actress who split from her long-term partner David Thewlis two months ago.


She and Ifans, 43, made their first public appearance together at the Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont.

Sipping cocktails, they appeared to have difficulty keeping their hands off each other and, as they left, they linked arms around their backs.

The Notting Hill star is understood to be staying at Anna's house and has been spotted at the house several times in recent weeks.

They have been trying their best to avoid being photographed together and have been keeping their romance very much under wraps.

But in the early hours of this morning Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy were pictured leaving The Brompton Club together, a move which suggest that the on-off couple are very much back together.

The couple enjoyed an evening at the exclusive members club in South Kensington, and emerged from the venue at 1.30am.


Harry and Chelsea then made their way to Beaufort House to spend some more time together.

Although the pair have enjoyed a number of dates in recent weeks this is the first time they have been pictured together since their split last year.

Earlier in the day Prince Harry cheered the England rugby team on to victory alongside his cousin Zara Phillips at Twickenham.

A police spokesperson said: ‘We can confirm that an unmarked police vehicle did hit a man at around 2 o clock.’

‘The man was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Services and he has sustained a leg injury, he should be released later today but I think he has broken his leg.’

But EastEnders star Neil McDermott, who plays Ryan Malloy in the soap, is at the centre of his drama this weekend after he admitted to cheating on his wife with a 16-year-old girl.

According to reports, the 30-year-old actor slept with the teenage fan just weeks after his wife Michelle had given birth to their first child, daughter Arabella.


And yesterday, he issued an apology in a desperate bid to save his three-and-a-half-year marriage.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, he said: 'I am so sorry: To my wife, ­daughter and our family for this ­betrayal. I love my wife and family dearly and I’m distraught that my life is now in tatters due to a stupid ­mistake.

'I’ve caused heartache to those I love most which I deeply regret. This was a one-off incident but I’ve let myself down as well as my wife and everyone who knows me. Now I just need privacy and time to do all I can to rebuild my family.'

His infidelity is believed to have happened last weekend when he made a personal appearance at the Glam nightclub in Stockton-on-Tees.

And according to a friend of the teenage girl, who has not been named, Neil, 30, started 'eyeing her up' as he signed autographs and took part in a Blind Date-style game.

The girl told her friend: 'Ryan just started staring at me through the crowd. It was so obvious that ­another girl, who I didn’t even know, turned to me and said, "He keeps looking at you".

'I was a bit starstruck to be honest as I love EastEnders and I’ve always really fancied Neil’s character Ryan.'

After having a drink together, they went to his hotel room and had sex but did not swap numbers in the morning and have not seen each other since.

Last night one of his friends said: 'Neil is absolutely ­devastated. He cannot believe he has been so stupid. This is not the way he usually behaves and he won’t make a mistake like this again.'

Neil met wife Michelle at London’s Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts when he was 19 and she was 18.

They have been ­together ever since and married at Airth Castle, Stirlingshire, in 2007 and their daughter was born last month.

And his betrayal comes two weeks after they took part in a glossy Hello! magazine shoot to show off six-week-old Arabella Betsy.

The doting father – whose character Ryan had a baby with Stacey Slater despite being in a relationship with Janine Butcher – posed for a series of ­heartwarming family snaps with Michelle and their child.

In EastEnders, he fathered a child with Stacey ­Slater, played by Lacey Turner, and married Janine three months later he married Janine who poisoned him and held him captive after finding out about the affair.

McDermott's agent was not available for comment today.

The football star, 26, is said to be preparing a summer wedding after proposing to underwear model Irina Shayk on Valentine's Day.

And reports in his native Portugal claim the 25-year-old Russian may be expecting their child.


Newspaper Correio da Manha said she had been seen sporting a small bump - as well as showing off her diamond engagement ring.

A friend of the ex-Manchester United star told the paper: 'Cristiano loves being a father.

Although they weren't planning having a baby so soon, the truth is that nothing makes him happier than his son.

'And the birth of the boy awakened Irina's desire to become a mother.

'They had been talking about marriage. Cristiano wanted something very special and romantic, and on Valentine's Day he travelled to New York to surprise Irina.

'He asked her to marry her.' The friend said Ronaldo's mum Dolores wants the couple to marry in the footballer's home town of Funchal, on the Portuguese island of Madeira.

His mum Dolores is helping raise the baby between Madrid and Portugal.

But last night, Rosario Dawson left the audience at the Spirit Awards open-mouthed as she grabbed Paul Rudd's crotch as he went to present a gong.

The actor took his place at the podium at the awards in Santa Monica, California last night to present the Best Screenplay accolade with actress Eve Mendes.

But then actress Dawson ran on stage to join them and grabbed Rudd's crotch, much to his surprise.

Time to hang up the Manolos? Sex and the City 2 stars named worst actresses at Razzie Awards

They'll be crying into their cosmopolitans: Sex and the City 2's cast were named the worst actresses at this year's Razzie Awards


It is the one Hollywood awards ceremony where no celebrity wants to win.

But this year the cast of Sex and the City 2 were among those who were called out at the 31st Annual Golden Raspberry Awards at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in LA.

The satirical ceremony, traditionally held the night before the Academy Awards, honour the year's worst films and actors.

Sex and the City 2 opened last year to lacklustre ticket sales and even worse reviews.

And all four of its stars - Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon - collectively took the worst actress category during event tonight.

The film, which saw the New York ladies head to Abu Dhabi for a girls' holiday, was also named worst sequel and took out the worst screen ensemble gong.

'It was released in the middle of a period of American history when everyone's scrounging not to lose their homes,' Razzies founder John Wilson said.

'And these women are riding around in Rolls-Royces, buying expensive shoes and just throwing money around like they're drunk.'

Parker said this month that she is open to the possibility of Sex and the City 3, telling the LA Times: 'I would go back. I think there's one more story to tell. I know there is.'

It won worst picture, worst director and worst screenplay while Jackson Rathbone was named worst supporting actor for both The Last Airbender and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

'He managed to take a cartoon property and make it even less lifelike by making it with real actors,' Wilson said of The Last Airbender, which was adapted from an animated TV series.

'Most people who like the show, and this would include my 14-year-old son, hated the movie. It made no sense whatsoever.'

Snubbed: Cheryl Cole is said to have missed out on a judging role on the U.S. X Factor show but is said to be being considered as a helper for Simon Cowell. Her accent and her profile in America are said to have been an issue for Fox execs


Speculation over whether she will be taking her seat next to Simon Cowell on the judging panel of the U.S. version of the X Factor has been running for weeks.

But Cheryl Cole’s American dream seems to have been dealt a fatal blow as it has emerged she has missed out on the top job, according to reports.

Instead of a judging role it appears she will be offered the role of Simon Cowell’s helper on the American version of the show, a huge blow to her hopes of launching her career stateside.


The role will be similar to the part played by the singer Sinnitta, who has helped the music mogul with his acts on the U.K. version of the show.

One source told the Daily Star: ‘People just don’t know who she is over there and people struggle to understand what she is saying.

‘Simon is consoling her with the offer of helping him win the first series, which would give her profile a massive boost.’

It is understood that executives at Fox TV have been wary of offering a place on the U.S. version of the hit talent show, despite her overwhelming success on the U.K. version, because of her strong Geordie accent.

Cheryl has always been fiercely proud of her gritty northern roots and regional accent, but if viewers in the U.S. can't understand what she's saying, the show will be in breach of strict U.S. TV regulations.

A source said: 'If audiences and contestants can't understand her, it is actually a regulatory offence.'

Worried TV chiefs are thought to have drafted in top Hollywood voice coach Bob Corff, who has worked with Sharon Osborne and on films including Kick-Ass in the past, to help Cheryl sound more 'American'.

But while she has been making every effort to appeal to American audiences and is said to have the support of Simon Cowell her aspirations appear to have been dampened.

A source told the paper: ‘Simon Cowell is still one of her biggest supporters. But even though the X Factor is his idea it’s the executives at Fox who have the ultimate say over the make-up of the show.’

But while the music mogul is said to champion Cheryl’s cause it has been reported that they haven’t met up since she has been in LA.

The source added: ‘Cheryl hasn’t heard or seen him since she arrived.’

And as her dreams of landing the top role on the American show are disappearing show bosses in the U.K. have already been looking for her replacement on the reality show with Supermodel Naomi Campbell being lined up to her place.

But while focus has been on the uncertainty of her career there is also considerable curiosity surrounding her relationship status as she is said to have spent her time in Hollywood holed up in her hotel with Derek Hough but is also said to be in regular contact with ex-husband Ashley Cole.

Cheryl is said to have spent her time stateside staying in with dancer Derek at her villa at the Sunset Marquis complex in West Hollywood.

And the pair seem to have been getting on so well that Cheryl was invited to a family dinner with Derek’s mother Marriann and stepfather Aaron at Soho house in LA.

The dancer’s sister Julianne Hough and her boyfriend TV presenter Ryan Seacrest were also present for the dinner to celebrate Derek’s mother’s birthday.

And it seems that the singer was a big hit with Derek’s parents and a source from the restaurant told The Sunday Mirror: ‘Derek’s mum and dad looked very taken with Cheryl and his mum spent a fair amount of time locked in conversation with her.’

But while the pair seem closer than ever it has also been reported that Cheryl has been very much in contact with her ex-husband Ashley Cole.

The former couple are said to have met up on a number of occasions and a source told the Daily Star that Ashley calls the singer every day spending hours on the phone.

The source at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground told the paper: ‘It’s like the first flush of love again. He calls her ‘my sweet Geordie princess’ – something the other lads take the mickey out of him relentlessly for.’
