In a recent interview, Kate Gosselin said she will never say a bad word publicly about her ex Jon, as he will always be the father of her children.

That doesn't mean she'll get back together with him, however.

A deluge of recent celebrity gossip reports have suggested Kate and Jon Gosselin, who have been on much better terms lately, might reconcile.

Not the case, says a source close to Kate.

"There is absolutely no chance of a reconciliation. They remain civil for the sake of the kids, but that's it," said the insider. "It's frustrating for Kate that people keep making stories up. Things are better but they have both moved on."

Jon has been dating Ellen Ross for the better part of a year and seems quite content living a normal life, working 9-to-5 installing solar panels.

As for Kate, she's single and has no qualms about it.

"Kate wants nothing more than to be seen in a completely different light than Jon is viewed," says the source. "Obviously he is the father of her children and that won't change, but she is feeling very happy about her decisions and situation."

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Though she lobbied Congress last year to boost the reimbursement rate for school lunches, food celebrity Rachael Ray said Saturday that improving school nutrition can best be tackled closer to home, in small steps without stepping on toes.

"As long as you don't insult someone and start with a conversation instead of a lecture, it's really easy to find people who are willing to make small changes," she said. "Finger wagging turns everyone off."

Ray, whose Yum-o! charity teaches kids healthy eating, spoke about that approach in an Associated Press interview at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival. While she applauds the recently announced plan by the Agriculture Department to implement the first major nutritional overhaul of students' meals in 15 years, Ray said parents and others shouldn't sit back.

Under the guidelines announced last month, school cafeterias would be required to cut the sodium in subsidized lunches by more than half, use more whole grains and serve low-fat milk. But those changes could take years to implement, and in the meantime, schools can find other ways to encourage healthy eating, such as having students plant gardens or offering healthier options in vending machines, Ray said.

"You don't have to wait for them to make a law, you can make changes in your own school by just going in there and telling them you care," she said.

Seven months after Ray's trip to Washington last spring, President Barack Obama signed a bill in December expanding access to free lunch programs and increasing the federal reimbursement for free school lunches by 6 cents a meal. Ray said she was pleasantly surprised that members of Congress listened to her pitch, but she was struck by the shortsightedness of some who couldn't see that the obese children of today will be generating costly medical bills years into the future.

"They can't see that debt yet, so they're not going to do anything about it, it doesn't exist," she said. "It's really childish, ironically."

She said she doesn't understand people who cast the debate over food policy as a battle between elitists and common folk or who criticize first lady Michelle Obama's fitness and childhood obesity initiatives.

"How could you criticize the idea of children playing in the sunshine and eating healthy food?" she said. "I don't know any one person in my broad or tight circle that agrees with any of that."

Though she grew up eating a healthy, Mediterranean-style diet, Ray said she was a latecomer to exercise, and didn't start running until she turned 40.

"When I started running, I felt like I wasted 20 years of my adult life," she said. "It makes such an emotional difference, and such a huge difference in your clarity of thought to vigorously exercise on a regular basis.

All three films are up for best picture at Sunday's Academy Awards, where Portman is considered the favorite to win the best-actress Oscar and Franco is a co-host.

With plenty of overlap among nominees at the Oscars, the Spirit Awards are a warm-up for Hollywood's biggest party.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The action fantasy "The Last Airbender" — about people who can command fire, air, water and earth — now controls something else: the Razzie awards for Hollywood's worst film achievements of 2010.

"The Last Airbender" led Saturday's Razzies with five awards, among them worst picture, worst director and worst screenplay for M. Night Shyamalan.

The movie also received Razzies for worst supporting actor (Jackson Rathbone, who was cited for both "The Last Airbender" and "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse") and for a special award, worst eye-gouging mis-use of 3-D.

The social network spat began when R&B star Rihanna took to her Twitter page to express being "hurt" by comments made by fellow singer Ciara on the E! News show "Fashion Police." 

Ciara spoke on the show of an encounter with Rihanna: "I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn't the nicest, and it's crazy because I've always loved and respected what she's done with fashion and I've ran into her, you know, before but this time it was really… it wasn't the most pleasant run in…" 

Rihanna retaliated by tweeting: "My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme." Ciara tweeted back: "Trust me Rihanna u don’t want to see me on or off the stage." To this, Rihanna responded with: "U gangsta huh? Haaa. Good luck with booking that stage u speak of."

The feud quickly ended though when Rihanna sent an apology tweet: "Ciara baby, I love you girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I'm heartbroken! That's y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup."

Ciara then accepted the apology, tweeting: "Rhi, u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. You threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let’s chat in person.
