But, I really do not understand why you have to knock Saralayar like that in your reply. What has he said that is so offensive or disgusting?
I really see no problem with his/her post, he was just asking the IV community if his issue can be addressed or not. Its up to the community as a whole to decide what to do with it.

This has been discussed in 2 or 3 threads and the other member might have followed it and got tired of it. Any ways, I have heard what you said from different people and if dates can become current, they can be retrogressed during the middle of the month. Imagine 40K applications in 10 days. If USCIS accepts 100K applications ( It can be if you count dependents ), it makes them look bad with the number of pending applications. They can very well say Enough, when they hit a predetermined threshold as conveyed by DOS.
All that we can do is try to file as soon as we can.

Hello,
I got my new passport yesterday. CGI houston have sent it via Fedex. They also returned my old passport. So over all it took 11 business days, which is fair and quick.
It would be great if they have tracking system in their website so that everyone can know their status since passport is a valuable doucment.

What was your I-485 ND (notice date)? just trying to to discern any patters. You are the first July 2 filer at TSC that has been approved from what i have seen so far.

you didnt understand my question. I do not have a birth certificate at all. in this case, what document should I use? thats the question.
having a birth certificate is mandatory...this document will prove that you belong to a particular country and fall into that country limit etc...
regarding not having the name on the birth certificate one of the attorney said that USCIS is aware that some countries issue birth certificates without names and so it is okay with the parents name and 2 persons who(around our parents age) can notarize saying that we r our parents child is good enough..

Guys,
Can someone please let me know whether it is possible / advisable to travel while H1 approval is pending?
She is currently in H4 with a valid stamp in her passport. She filed for her H1 and was selected in lottery. She has a receipt but her approval is pending.
We were interested in making a short trip to India before Oct 1. But the consulting firm advised against it as according to them if she re-enters in H4 (even before Oct 1) while her H1 approval is pending, her H1 application will be cancelled and she has to restart the process all over again. Something to do with the last status on re-entry.
My thoughts are: The change of status will be effective Oct 1, 2008, why would it matter if I travel prior to that date?
A lot of you may have experienced the same dilemma, so please let me know...

I am appalled at the insensitivity and selfishness of some of the posters here.
Those of you who have just had good news yesterday that YOU are ok should be ASHAMED of yourselves by telling people in a much more depressing situation to lighten up.:confused:
I am much more appalled at LC applicants who can not summarize their problems in Employment Based (EB) Skilled Immigration Applicants (http://boards.msn.com/MSNBCboards/thread.aspx?threadid=314286&boardsparam=Page%3D2)

If each one of us sends 2 letters out, the total letters would be atleast 400-500. More senators are going to be aware of this mess, and atleast 5-6 of them are going to send inquiries. That would just add up to what is already going on.

I just wanted to say that the rally, all the pre-rally prep, and meeting with lawmakers was such an intense and exhilarating experience! I feel so priviledged to have met some of the core IV people - I felt like a groupie meeting superstars! They are truly inspiring... There were so many other wonderful people I had the chance to meet who now make my wait more meaningful. It was such fun getting to know all of you and sharing the experience. I have wonderful memories of the entire event...

Looks like NSC is also approving I-485's. Not sure how long this trend is going to continue, guess all depends on how much visa numbers gets trickled down from other categories to EB2 India / China. Hope and wish they are many.. which would helps many people waiting in line and PD not getting pushed back for FY '10. I feel bad for EB3 folks though, seems like nothing going to change for them at least in near future, untill there is some congressional action. Hopefully the next VB gives some indication on how things are going to move. Good luck and wishes to all who got greened, especially with older PD's who have been waiting for years. Think nothing changes much overnight with GC, but certainly gives a peace of mind and helps execute long term plans with much confidence.

I am talking about the final documents I sent to DBEC (Dallas Backlog center). My priority date is Dec. 2004. My status changed to "CERTIFIED" this afternoon....yahooooooooooo. I was in process this morning and now it is certified. OP hang in there....yours will be cleared soon as well.
