Charice’s album debuted at #8 on Oricon (7/7) and ranked #1 on Amazon Japan’s Best Sellers list for the week of 7/13. For her Japan debut, Charice’s team went for a different concept than her American album concept. They wanted to make her mature, yet cute. Warner Music Japan (WMJ) re-packaged her album with new photo’s and included extras that have a cover of Ayaka’s “Mikazuki” (Crescent Moon).
J-Pop singer Beni tweeted this morning, “met CHARICE today at mezamashiLIVE:) was jammin to pyramid backstage..she killed it!”
