AKB48 member Masuda Yuka, held a press conference for her first movie as a leading actress, “Hitori Kakurenbo- Shin gekijouban” on the 13th. ”Hitori Kakurenbo” (Creepy Hide & Seek) is a famous urban legend in Japan, in which if you follow certain rituals, you will be able to play Hide & Seek with ghosts. It was made into a movie in 2009, but now a new version of “Hitori Kakurenbo” will be released on July 31st.
This is the first time for Yuka to star in a movie and starring in a horror movie was her dream.
Yuka said, “I’m nervous, but very happy at the same time. Although it is a horror movie, it includes a deep message. I hope people can feel it.”
If you want to try the “creepy hide and seek”, there are many sites which tell you how, but it IS very creepy, and scary.
