You can use EAD with current employer. I think your company has to do the change your I9 form to EAD. You don't need to inform as you are not changing any company.

My H1 is valid until 2010 Feb.
I am also having EAD till 2011 June.
I have been with my employer all along.... and prefer to stay with same employer till GC.
I DONT want to apply for my H1 extension since they are asking lot of questions like Contract details etc with RFE's.
My Q is - Can i use EAD with my EXISTING employer or EAD should be used for only NEW employer based on AC21?
If i use EAD with my current employer, should i have to inform uscis(any process involved)?
Please suggest...

What your company says is correct. there are stringent rules on posting. I dont see anything suspicious on your company's part here.

When 140 is denied, then 485 is also denied. Appeal going to AAO is common thing. Will sit there forever. Its takes approximately 12-20 months to get a reply.
Mine is already crossed 12 months now.

You can file H1-B extension based on your approved i-140 you should receive another 3 yrs extension i did the same.

Guess it is a simple question.
What does a soft LUD mean ? I have often read that term on the forum.
I at times see that something was updated on my case..."last updated date" but then there is no status update.....for example this happened on my I131 application on Feb 4, 2009
On the I485 I think it is just that they transferred it from one office to another as the status says.

If anyone is planning to drive from CT for the rally or is not driving because they are unsure, or not motivated enough... then here is your chance.
We can join together and go to DC and come back together. I am planning to go on Monday 17th morning. Ill be coming from New Haven/Hamden area in CT.
If anyone is planning to go in the evening, we have a BUS service available also. We are starting 6:30 PM from Woburn, MA on the 17th and should be reaching Hartford at around 8:15 - 8:30 PM, New Haven at about 9:00 - 9:15 PM.

Also if you are on highways 84 and 91, let us know, as we can pick you up on the way.

Some where I read that there is no fee for renewal of AP. I am a Jul 07 filer and am not sure about this. Further already applied last year for Advance parole and traveled once. it got expired last month. I am applying for a new one again. So just wanted to know if I need to pay the fees $305.
So my questions are:
Does July 07 filers need to send the cheque for $305 for AP renewal. (My I 485 Reciept Date is Aug 2007)
Should we also include Biometric fee of $80?
And how much time approx is it taking these days for AP?

Here is my understanding after I read the report.
There is a law that says that I-485 applications will have to be processed within 120 days. According to USCIS interpretation, the clock ticks only after FBI name check, this check and that check. But the supervisors/adjudicators have authority to bypass the check and process the application after 40 days of no reply from FBI or other entities.
None of the above mentioned can be construed as legal advice.
